The Adventures of Morley

My photo
Krakow, Poland
I am currently living in the Pacific Northwest, spending my time working with students on Bainbridge Island in the Puget Sound in Washington state. I most recently returned from Krakow, Poland where I was working at an international school. I spent my youth (or much of it) in Europe: Belgium and then Hungary. I also lived in Bangladesh for a year, and Namibia for a summer. I love mountains and snow, but I am currently living in the land of heat, oceans, and jungles.

Spring Cleaning?

Well not quite yet, it warmed up to the fourties for a few days, enough that the snow was melting on the streets and my distinguished snow man is now just a ball of snow with sticks flailing out of each side- looks disturbingly like the 'headless horseman'.. except that he has no horse, and soon may dissolve into silt and some muddy snow!
But other than the nonexistent snowman, things are going alright here in Burnsville. I am checking out tomorrow and departing for my spring semester at the college of saint benedict.

in the last 48 hours i think i have slept close to 19 hours, pretty good for moi!
happy thursday

good job getting some sleep!

the weather did lead to interesting snow shapes - looking out the window, it appears my house has dreadlocks.
