SNOW STORM! Over a foot of snow in the past 12 hours..
just thought i'd let everyone know i'm still alive (:

The wheels on the bus go..

This morning I took my first public bus in Duluth.. an experience I must say. See, the buses in Duluth don't have very helpful or visible schedules.. so I hopped on a bus hoping that it would take me to where I needed to go.. Put in a dollar to pay- oh-and after I put in the dollar she tells me it won't give any change, so I was down 40 cents.Curses
Eventually got off at the U of M in duluth.. walked the hallways- got horribly lost.. ended up walking about 15 minutes to the shopping center. But I made it. Still alive- and only slightly more aware of how the DTA works.

Tragedy

Sir James Delancey of the Loyalists in 1776, was mobbed and died on this tragic day. He was attacked and asked to no longer speak in the Assembly, he refused, and called up on the British army to defend him. This did little help, and Delancey was defeated.

There once was a girl..

....Who lived in a far away land.
In this land it snowed day and night, leaving houses looking like frosted woods-creatures and children with happy faces.

In this land there was a young lady. She often enjoyed skulking around the neighborhood at night, discovering other late-night adventurers.

If she could not find another, she would sit and sulk, saddened that no others were able to enjoy her company. And that of her companion.

Beware of this girl. If she becomes too sad, she may resort to chucking giant cannonballs of snow at your resident hall. Take caution!!

Winter wonderland

It has finally come. Good morning to the snowstorm. Okay maybe not a storm, but there is a Winter Storm Warning- ou la la. looks like a good day to sit around and watch Disney movies, oh wait, that is exactly what we are planning on doing! Not too much going on this weekend; went and watched some friends play hockey in the Blazer vs. Ollie game last night.
What a wonderful day to sit inside. and eat yogurt. and get over this nasty cold I have.
